Don't Doubt Your Dopeness

Currently I'm constantly trying to define my style. Especially as a blogger, there's a huge advantage to having a style that readers can identify with. At this point I'm not quite sure what my style is, but I know what it is not. I'm not a minimalist, but I'm also not a fan of heavy detail. I think that I'm somewhere in between and that leaves me questioning myself whether there's room for me, and how to get my foot in the door to make a name for myself in the bloggersphere. In the process I find my self downplaying my style which is the most unfulfilling thing! Minimalist bloggers seem to be winning in the style blogger's realm but neutral colors, a t-shirt and jean combo as a frequent option does not satisfy my soul! Don't get me wrong, some of my favorite style bloggers are minimalists because those few keep things interesting on a consistent basis, but I know that my style is more than that. So I decided that I'm going to stop all together. Stop trying to keep myself crammed in a style box and stop trying to dress like other people. This is easier said than done. I'm still a work in progress, but I'm going to dress as much like me as possible. I'm going to keep on with my DIYing, "it's-all-in-the-detail" ways because that's what makes my style, MY style. This is what makes me dope. This is my dopeness, and no one should doubt their dopeness. Don't doubt your dopeness.
